CPTA Officers

2008-2009 Officers

July 03, 2008

-Shall preside at all meeting of the CPTA and the Executive Team (Pres, V. Pres., Secretary, Treasurer, Hospitality, and all additional Chairmen)

-Shall coordinate with the Publicity Chairperson

-Shall act as an executive member of the Yearbook Team, the Website/Newsletter Team, and the Budget Team

 

-Shall preside, in the absence of the President, at meetings of the CPTA and the Executive Team

-Shall serve as an aide to the President

-Shall coordinate with the Fall Events Chairperson

-Shall act as an executive member of the Carnival Team, the Monster Mash Team, and the Budget Team

-Shall head the Classroom Communicator Program

 

-Shall keep the minutes of all meetings of the CPTA and the Executive Team

-Shall carry on correspondence delegated to her

-Shall provide a copy of the approved minutes along with a list of members in attendance and place in a permanent file

-Shall provide information to be placed in the ECHO Newsletter

-Shall coordinate with the Spring Events Chairperson

-Shall act as an executive member of the Track Meet Team, the Volleyball Camp Team, and the Budget Team

 

-Shall have charge of all funds belonging to the CPTA and Library Fund

-Shall collect and keep an accurate account of all monies of the CPTA in a ledger

-Shall expend money only upon an order voted on by the Executive Team and/or members attending CPTA meetings

-Shall submit a detailed written report at each meeting of the CPTA

-Shall track all budgetary spending during school year

-Shall coordinate with the Fundraising Chairperson

-Shall act as an executive member of the Fall Fundraising Team and the Budget Team

 

-Shall make a point to introduce self and others to new families

-Shall arrange to have CPTA New Family Guide Books prepared and passed out to all Kindergarten families and any new families with older children

-Said Guide Book will contain at least a list of the officers, classroom coordinators, and important dates to remember

-Shall organize food, drinks and babysitting at CPTA monthly meetings

-Shall send a card to any student, faculty or staff that is hospitalized, seriously ill or that has a death in the immediate family and address it “Ell-Saline Elementary CPTA Members”

-Shall send birthday cards to all faculty and staff and address it “Ell-Saline Elementary CPTA Members”

-Shall send out any other card that is deemed necessary by the CPTA and address it “Ell-Saline Elementary CPTA Members”

-Shall choose and purchase ‘In Memory’ books for any deceased immediate family members of staff

-Shall update front hall bulletin board, calendar, and birthdays

-Shall coordinate school supply sales

-Shall coordinate with the Staff Events Chairperson

-Shall act as an executive member of the Teacher Appreciation Team and the Budget Team

 

Principal  - Dana Sprinkle

-Shall provide advice and guidance to the CPTA in making business decisions

-Shall serve as a liaison between the school and the CPTA

-Shall act as an executive member of the Budget Team
